Location of University Malaysia Srawak ( UNIMAS Location): UNIMAS has 2 Branches, the main Branch Located in Sarawak State in Kota Samarahan which is connected to Kuching city via a modern highway with a distance of 25 km. Driving from the Kuching city centre to UNIMAS takes about 20 to 30 minutes. if you want to go to UNIMAS from Kuala Lumpure its Only posible by flight which is 1 hour and 30 Minutes from Kuala Lumpure international Airport.

second Branch on UNIMAS located in Serdang , it is 15 kilometers from Kuala Lumpure which is 20 Minuted Drive .

English Language requirement for admission in UNIMAS University Malaysia : All international students who are going to apply for UNIMAS are required to have Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOFEL) or the test administered by the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with the minimum required score below for different levels of study .

NOTE 1:  The applicants who have completed full time secondary or tertiary studies or equivalent qualification in English will be satisfied their English Language requirement. Academic transcript and an official letter from the institution certifying that English was the medium of instruction and assessment must be provided.

NOTE 2: If you do not have above English language qualifications, you can sit for UNIMAS English placement test when you arrive in Malaysia. If you pass the placement test, you would have met the minimum English requirement and start your study at UNIMAS Malaysia. However, if you have NOT passed the UNIMAS placement test, you will be required to do a compulsory English course at UNIMAS University.

Accommodation at UNIMAS University: All students at Kota Samarahan Campus can apply for accommodation with the Centre for Graduate Studies, UNIMAS. The university provides a well-equipped a single or twin sharing room for international students  while staying in Malaysia. The cost is RM15 per day, inclusive of utilities such as bathroom, household appliances, cooking facilities and TV room.
