About Monash:  Monash University Malaysia is one of several Monash University campuses and centres outside the State of Victoria in Australia. The Malaysian campus of Monash University opened in 1998. It was the first foreign university in Malaysia. Monash University Malaysia has been given the rating of ‘excellent’ by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education, which entitles it to government sponsorship of its students, government research grants and greater flexibility in setting staff salaries. As one of the eight Monash University campuses, the Malaysian campus is subject to Monash University for all matters related to academic development, teaching and support.

Location of University Monash Malaysia ( Monash Location): Monash University Malaysia is located in Bandar Sunway, Malaysia, about 20 kilometres from Kuala Lumpur which is 18 Minutes Drive by Car while the Johor Bahru Clinical School is located in the southern Malaysian city of Johor Bahru which there is a 4 hour drive from Kuala Lumpur.

English Language requirement for admission in University Monash Malaysia : All international students who are going to apply for Monash are required to have Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOFEL) or the test administered by the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or Pearson Test of English (PTE)  with the minimum required score below for different levels of study

NOTE: If you have missed out on a place at Monash University Malaysia because of your English language score, Monash English Bridging (MEB) may offer you a way to your chosen degree course at Monash. Students who successfully complete the MEB will gain automatic entry to Monash schools. There is no need to re-sit the IELTS or any other English test.

Entry requirements for MEB course: 

Undergraduate and Postgraduate (Postgraduate Diploma, Masters and Doctoral Programmes):

• IELTS: 6.0 overall score with no band lower than 5.0
• Paper-based TOEFL: Overall test score of 523, with a TWE score of 4.0
• TOEFL iBT: Overall test score of 69, with minimum score of 15 in Writing, score of 14 in Speaking, score of 5 in Reading and Listening
• Pearson: Overall 50, writing communicative skills score 50, no PTE communicative skills score below 36

Accommodation at Monash University: The Sunway Residence Management Services offer a choice of single and shared rooms, close to campus and central Bandar Sunway. 

* In this accomodation you should pay the rental for one quarter ( 3 months) initially. also there are a deposit between RM1000- 2000 depending on the rooms and a RM300 for Processing fee.
