About UiTM: Mara university of technology is a public university in  shah alam, Malaysia. Established in 1956 as RIDA (Rural & Industrial Development Authority) Training Centre (Malay: Dewan Latehan RIDA), it opened its door to some 50 students with a focus to help the rural Malays.  

Since that time it has grown into the largest higher education institution in Malaysia by physical infrastructure, staff, organization (academic and non-academic) and student enrollment. UiTM is the one of the largest universities in the world. UiTM offered some 500 programmes ranging from foundation to postgraduate level. It is home to some 168,000 students: bumiputeras and international students, in full-time and part-time mode.The teaching is fully conducted in English.

Location of Mara University of Technology  ( UiTM Location): Mara university is located in Shah Alam which is about 30 KM far from Kuala Lumpur and it is 30 Minutes Drive by Car.

English Language requirement for admission in UiTM : All international students who are going to apply for Mara University of Technology are required to have Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOFEL) or the test administered by the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with the minimum required score below for different levels of study.

NOTE: Any other English language certificates other than TOEFL and IELTS are NOT accepted by the university.

NOTE: If you do not have one of the above English requirements, you are not eligible to apply for UiTM University (you can apply to other universities which provide English Course or apply to English language institutes to get your IELTS)

Accommodation at Mara University of Technology: Kristal Residential College offers accomodation to UiTM international students and local students. It is located with 15 minutes walk to UiTM Main Campus. There are two types of unit, one with small corridor and the other one with big corridor.
