About UNITEN : University Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN Malaysia) is a unique institution, providing both academic programs and engineering technology skills training within the same campus. The university programs are focused on engineering, information technology, business management and related areas. UNITEN not only prepares its graduates to become knowledgeable and competent professionals, but also promotes them as well-rounded individuals with broad intellectual outlook.

UNITEN is one of the first private universities in Malaysia and is wholly-owned by the public-listed Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), one of the largest utility companies in South East-Asia. Though relatively new as a university, UNITEN is moving rapidly towards establishing itself as the regional center of educational excellence. The support and commitment it receives from its holding company, TNB, has enabled it to accelerate the infrastructure development of the campus.

Location of University Tenaga Nasional Malaysia: 

UNITEN  Malaysia has two campuses:

1- Main Campus: This campus is located between Putraja and Kajang and 25 Km from Kuala Lumpur.

2- Branch Campus: This campus is located in Muadzam Shah, Pahan state, and 225 km from Kuala Lumpur.

Academic Requirement for admission to UNITEN Malaysia
Bachelor	1) high school, secondary school or A-Level with minimum CGPA 2 out of 4 or Pass 2) if you want to apply for engineering program, you have to pass mathematics , physics and chemistry during high school.
Master	1) A Bachelor degree with minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4 or equivalent, in a related field 2) A Bachelor degree or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2 out of 4 , in a related field can be accepted with a minimum  five (5) years work experience in relevant field.
PhD	1)A Master degree with minimum CGPA 2.75 out of 4 or equivalent, in a related field 2)A Bachelor degree or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2 out of 4 in a related field, can be accepted with minimum five (5) years work experience in relevant field.

 

English Language requirement for admission to University Tenaga National (UNITEN) Malaysia: All international students are going to apply for UNITEN are required to have  TOFEL or IELTS with minimum required score for different levels of study as below:

Note: If you don’t have required IELTS/ TOEFL to study at UNITEN, we can get your offer letter and student visa and after entrance to Malaysia, you can participate in university English placement test.If you pass the exam successfully,you can start your study. If you fail the exam, you have to participate in university English course and after passing the English class, you can start your study.

Accommodation in UNITEN: On-campus student apartments are available for over 3,800 students, including a small number of units for married students. The apartments provided are comfortable with well-equipped facilities such as lounges and kitchenettes for each apartment.

Bedrooms are either single or double and each apartment can accommodate four(4) students. The ambience in the student apartment helps build camaraderie and encourage friendship among students of diverse racial and religious backgrounds.
